Pebble Sisters and BGM Designs were introduced at a local Artisan fair. While discussing the struggles of a local artist and technology needs, Pebble Sisters mentioned they needed a website….
Soon after, www.thepebblesisters.com was launched, bringing the next digital chapter to the local artisan’s journey. The website highlights the sister’s journey, portfolio and offers information for customers to place custom pebble art orders.
Design
Pebble Sisters is a two person design team, creating beautiful art from seaglass, driftwood and pebbles. Their designs were already sold in several stores and they actively sell their products in person at local markets.
The site focuses on earthy tones and a simple design. Much like a framed picture box of pebble art, each web page uses simple shapes and soothing colors.
For now, the website serves to boost credibility as a digital landing zone for the sisters.
Results
Within the first week, the website had over 3,000 unique visitors, leveraging the existing Facebook and Instagram presence of the Sisters. Today, the site is a crucial part of Pebble Sister’s online presence and provides the legitimacy and visibility the team needs to move to the next step in their journey.
The project has helped BGM Designs connect with the local artist community and helps Pebble Sisters further reach their customer base.
