BG Mushrooms
BG Mushrooms are handmade, clay, mushroom sculptures. Most are two piece, magnetic pieces, where the mushroom tops and bottoms can be interchanged or redesigned. Newer designs include glass bubbles, pearls, and polished stones. The final varnish process creates a look that resembles glass or ceramic.
Games
The game designs began with custom chess sets which include the classic BG Mushrooms tops. BGM Designs presented the board game Mushinko (mushroom pachinko) at PAX East 2025, alongside a Kickstarter campaign.
Mushroom Art
Small BG Mushroom sculptures found homes in many potted planters. So, BGM Designs created the mushroom themed mini potted planter, even as the sculptures got bigger. At fairs, mushroom-themed earrings, planters, and other art pieces are sold around the clay creations.

BG Mushrooms are sold at the Cozy Cottage Artisan Boutique in multiple locations. Currently in stock at the Pembroke and Hyannis, MA locations
The Cozy Cottage supports over 100 Artisans and Creators on the South Shore, with Boutique shops and monthly markets.
About BGM Designs
Starting in 2024, in Boulder CO, BG mushrooms were first sold at Art Walks, Craft Fairs, Artisan Markets and other local events. BGM Designs has since moved to the South Shore of Massachusetts where BG Mushrooms continue to be shared with other mushroom-themed products.
